One thing I would add to the information is that in Ohio it would be important to store the container in a frost free area. Somewhere the bulbs would get chilled, but not frozen through.

An unheated garage or basement (after chilling in some frosts, but not exposed to the deepest cold of winter) would work.

Or bulbs could be stored in a refrigerated area and then planted into the container in March, and left outside.
