I have a page of suggestions for personally picked garden supplies and accessories on Amazon. I update it and all of the items are things I have bought and used. Some are so practical that I use them almost daily.

The latest purchase I have made has been a pair of Garden “Sloggers”. I wanted to have a half-boot size for wading through wet leaves in my yard. Because I had ordered them from Amazon and was so happy with them, they are the newest item that I added to the Gardener’s idea list.
Amazon Gardener Lists
Recently these lists have been posted in several categories, But the one for gardening gear holds products that I buy and use because I love them. The garden Gear has two types of glove. When working with wet conditions I like Nitrile fabric, but for all around favorite use (especially when thorns are involved) Goat Leather. It is more supple than cowhide type leather gloves. Real leather protects and is very comfortable.
I especially like the idea of a pretty compost pail that comes filled with bath bombs: a practical gift that has its personal side.
Gift Ideas of Birthdays and Holidays
If you have a gardener on your gift list- or you want to drop hints, I made a one stop for shopping page to share. Delight the garden and chicken lover with selected suggestions to make their heart merry.
Generally, you can’t go wrong when giving:
- Well made tools (a link to my article about garden tools)
- Garden themed jewelry
- Gift cards to a Nursery or garden catalog
- Garden gear like hats, gloves, knee pads, kneelers, etc. (Check out the garden gift list, here.)
- Gardening books
Ideas From Home and Garden Companion
Here is a Christmas gift list based off a page I wrote a number of years ago. It had included Ethel gloves. Remember those? Those of us who do, are sorry that the company no longer makes those fabulous gardening gloves, but you might like this quick way to peruse that blast from the past garden gift list. It can spark ideas you may not have considered, yet.
I will be creating all new Jolly Gardener gift lists on the Homegardencompanion.com. Look for it!
Besides these ideas from the Amazon, you might want to check out the pots and fountains that are on this page, ‘Prime Picks’.
Another great idea is to go to my Zazzle Site for personalized, custom items. You can uplaod your own photos and choose from multiple thousands of artists creations. My designs are usually templated for easy customization. The items are quality, the printing top notch, and the gift will be a unique one.
Go to the IlonaGarden Zazzle StoreFor more handpicked gift suggestions, mostly leaning to the practical… for bona fide garden people.
